I love the "memory lane idea". My husband, Leo, was inducted in 1943
also and used to talk of the rigors of boot camp, the Liberty Ship
voyage to Italy and the 36- something's regiment's march up through
Italy. He wore a Pine Tree patch. I'm sure thaat would mean something
to some of your readers. I still have his WWII uniform. If he were
still with us, I'm sure he would have really enjoyed this idea.
Do you suppose the ladies might join in?
